YES: Absolutely! Especially if you make it public and you purchase a domain name and then tell all your friends!
NO: Awe come on! Of course not! You have no friends and you sit at your computer in your office, by yourself, telling yourself jokes that you think are funny… and you are the only one laughing. You are only writing this shit down to get it out of your head!

Dear Anon:
The damage is done. There’s no turning back now. You might as well forward the domain name to your blog on WordPress or wherever you started and then mask that address. There are other ways for you to make sure people see your blog by typing in that new domain name. We’ll address that another time. All in due time, my friend. All in due time!
